The game about intensity, aggressiveness, hard work and determination. From learning how to throw when i first entered, to the game play, to rules, to cuts, to game awareness and to now.

I wasnt playing well before, i was totally in the midst of being in the stagnant stage, to a point where i nearly gave up. Frisbee suddenly wasnt as fun as before. Really wanted to escape.

Well, frisbee has definitely a whole new meaning now. We trained about 10 months for this. Just for this day. A few obstacles here and there but nonetheless, we did it NYP!

and so afternoon today was totally cool, gg back so wasnt.

Waited for my bus for 45 mins! and it broke down on the way home so i had to wait for another! didnt board the next one cause it was too packed and i had to wait another 20 mins for the next bus to come! i had to stand all the way back homeeeeeee. aaahhhhhhhh. so i spent 2.5 hours getting home!!

this is atrocious.

On a lighter note, had a theory session ystd at SMU with the NYT which lasted for 3 hours! A tad too long! It kinda reminded me of lectures of NYP, just that i dont listen in NYP. Chicken rice then to Island Creamery.

I think we’re a bunch of crazy people, fooling around with $10 and eating massive amounts of ice-cream. Despite us coming from different clubs and schools, playing against each other during competitions, we’re still good friends with each other. Friendship’s more impt yo! And so that ends my great Sun with the awesome bunch of people.

IVP on Sat where we lost to SIM on universal point. I was just a bit off the course of the disc, marking off more of the dump and that few secs changed the entire game. The final assist and score, a scene forever etched in my mind.

I dont want to go back to that situation again, very nerve-wrecking. The moments of waiting for the rain to stop so that we can play that final point was really nothing like i’ve ever felt before. Thoughts and scenarios ran through my head and the possibilities were infinite. I think the 7 of us will remember the point for a very long time.

I think every point plays a part, if we played harder in the first few points, we wouldnt have come to the universal point, everything adds up. Everyone could have played differently that could have changed the course of the game.

I dont like having regrets, so whatever i do, i think it through and give my best. Applies to every singe thing i do, every game, every point. I dont take defeats easily and i believe NYP will come back stronger. For me, i’ll play like i’ve never played before; the desire for the disc has never been stronger.

So the weekend was really fun and crazy. Not to mention tiring too.

So Sat after youth training, bunch of us went to Almo’s to play Rockband. Weeeeee! It was awesome! So the Not Your Tomatoes-Almo, Hayden, WanYu, XY and i turned into rockers. I sucked at drums, i think i have no coordination and absolutely no musical talents whatsoever. haha but XY and Almo rocked-i think they play Rockband 24/7 ok. So awk awk and XY cramping while being on bass was hilarious and she had to pause just to go stretch. Great fun rapping and singing retarded lyrics!
Doug’s house after that. Apparently there was supposed to be a lot of people but they left when Hayden and i reached. Oh well. Stayed over and went over to SK in the morning!

League finals! Very tiring. Won the first 2 games by universal points and then it rained so games were paused. Finals could probably be the best and most awesome game i’ve ever played. Thanks Flickstones! So given the very wet conditions, there were layouts aplenty. Plus a very nice layout d by XY! So there wasnt pressure even though it was finals and i truly could let loose. Fooling around with XY and the team on the field and playing with water haha. Plus the sidelines were being totally retarded as well. Flickstones won and i ended up with 2 very dirty muddy shirts and being full of grass all over. Thanks Google for the ride to get cleaned up!

Over to Changi for league party and basically to sum it up, everyone was pretty much drunk or on the way. Very entertaining. Stayed over the next day till about 7 then to Bukit Timah market for AWESOME and very filling dinner then home!
