18 reasons

It’s nearing another year’s end and boy, does time pass ever so fast. A lot to ponder upon for this year and a lot to be grateful for.

This year has been awesome. Better than awesome in fact. A lot of things have changed and well, it’s definitely for the better.

New school, new environment, new friends and new modules to overcome.

Made new friends, and kept the close ones even closer.

Tried new things, the high life, the luxurious and the plain.

Entering adulthood with a bang, not to mention the tinge of drunkenness with the best friends. Also, time to mature and stepping up with responsibility.

Finally letting go of things not meant to be. Keeping distances, keeping promises. Reminiscing the memories yet forgetting existences.

The one person who makes you happy, who makes you look forward to the simplest of things; where just sitting in silence is sufficient. The one, to care and protect, and whom made you settle. The definition of love.

I’ll remember 2010. I’ll miss 2010.

What does 2011 hold?

Today I’ve come to realise a few things.

1) Really, you gotta treasure the ones you love around you. Hold them close, don’t ever loosen that grasp.

2) But also, let them venture (not too far though)

3) Love, love like you’ve never been hurt before. Just let yourself fall. Fall into the bliss and happiness everyone yearns for. And bask in it.

4) Sometimes, one has to put down their guards and egos and be vulnerable.

5) And I’m really a crybaby.
